Look for another option December 26, 2010 Reviewer: Brodey Fobes from Gold River, CA United States   The quality of the laser in this unit is ideal, and will hold a small dot at a long distance but overall this piece is just not ideal for the Mosin.  It is really too small in diameter to fit into the chamber of my M91/30 so i had to wrap tape around it to get a more solid fit.  Also, as stated by the previous review the laser is not bright enough to be seen during the day, but I'd expect that with any laser.  Do your boresighting down your street at night if the neighbors aren't liberals.  Also the battery life is poor but with the laser quality and cell size that too is to be expected.  Overall a quality product but chances are it is better suited for a different type of weapon.
